Following numerous criticisms from Paret-Peintre and Plapp
regarding the drafting advantage benefited by Tadej Pogačar and UAE Team Emirates during the 2026 Tour de Romandie,
ASO has analyzed Professor Bert Blocken’s Aerodynamic Drag in Cycling study. It has been decided that only three miniature motorcycles (aka minibikes) will be deployed to support the race this year.
